Kidney stones lesser than 4mm size: Stones that are lesser than 4mm size usually passes out along with the urine. For that you need to drink lots of water daily and lemon juice. A lemon cuts the stone and dissolves it. Drinking lots of water and then passing out the urine in force usually removes the stone that are smaller and tiny in size. Doctors even advices the patient to have a glass of beer as it helps in pushing out the stone via urine.

Kidney stones from size 5mm to 15mm: When the kidney stones are relatively larger in size then you need to consult a doctor for its removal. Doctor tries treatment like the Shock waves, Laser, Tunnel surgery, Ureteroscope etc. During the Shock waves treatment the doctor sends shock waves directly to the stone via machine and breaks the stone into small parts which gets pass out with urine.

In a tunnel surgery the doctor makes a small cut into the patients back and makes a narrow tunnel through the skin to the stone inside the kidney. An Ureteroscope looks like a long wire. The doctor inserts this wire into the patient’s urethra, passes it up to the bladder & directs it to the ureter where the stone is located. This device comes with a camera that directs the doctor to view the stone. A cage is used to drag the stone and pull it out from the patient’s body or the doctor has an option to destroy the stone with device.

Kidney Stone: Summary:

Kidney stone can form again inside the body even if removed once or twice. The best way to avoid these stones is by drinking lots of water. You can even ask your doctor to make you see the stone after it is pulled out during surgery.

sports-athelets-dietThere is an ongoing debate regarding the use and necessity of high protein diets in weight training and bodybuilding. A high protein diet is often recommended by bodybuilders and nutritionists to help efforts to build muscle and lose fat. It should not be confused with low- curb diets such as the Atkins Diet, which are not calorie-controlled and which often contain large amounts of fat.

The high-protein diet recommends that the dieter consume 30 to 40 percent of his/her calories from protein. Foods that are high in carbohydrates, especially sugars, pasta, breads, cereals and potatoes, are limited. Protein is a vital nutrient, essential to your health, it help replace and form new tissue, transports oxygen and nutrients in our blood and cells, regulates the balance of water and acids, and is needed to make antibodies. The high protein diet has become one of the most popular diets around these days, everyone can benefit from eating a high protein diet and eating high protein foods. Whether your goal is to increase muscle, gain weight and get big, lose weight and lose fat, get and/or stay lean, this type of diet is right for you. There are many reasons why it is one of the only types of diets around that can be effective for so many different people with so many different goals and bodies.

Your body needs protein, and lots of it. It is the building block of muscle, which is why eating a high protein diet with high protein foods, is EXTREMELY important for anyone looking to increase muscle, gain weight/get big, or anyone just looking to build muscle. Without enough protein in the body, muscle mass will not increase. During your weightlifting and strength training workout, your muscles are getting broken down. In order to rebuild and repair your muscles, your body needs protein as well as high protein food.

Last but not least, when are the most important times to eat high protein foods? There are 3 “most important” times. These times are first thing in the morning after you wake up, last thing at night before you go to bed, and directly after your workout. However, remember that the main point of eating a high protein diet is to give your body the protein it needs all day long, which is why it would be a good idea to eat a meal once every 3 hours or so,  this way your body will always have what it needs.
