face-wash1Pimples (Acne) are formed due to skin lesions or inflammations of the skin. It is a common problem that occurs in most teenagers and youth. Acne typically is the result of physical, hormonal and emotional changes that occur during puberty. However, it can affect an individual of any age.
It is best to take the advice of a Dermatologist as Acne may cause scars later. It is better to begin treatment as early as possible to prevent a full blown problem. But, there are also some ways in which you can help prevent Acne (Pimples) by following a few simple rules.
1. Make sure you wash your hands frequently and especially before you touch your face. Please avoid touching your face unnecessarily. Hair traps dirt so do not allow your hair to fall on your face. It is also best to maintain clean hair at all times to avoid dead skin, dandruff and other dirt from falling on your face when you comb your hair.
2. Wash your face with mild, gentle cleansers, but never over wash. Mild cleansers will help retain the PH balance of your skin without making it feel tight, dry or irritable.
3. Although it may be tempting to scratch, pinch or squeeze the pimple, do not attempt it as you may spread the infection on to other areas on your face. Also it may make the spot redder, swollen and angrier.
4. Eat fresh fruits, salads and green vegetables to detoxify your system. You can also consume 9-11 glasses of water to flush out toxins from your body. Eating fiber rich foods will help you to avoid constipation. Skin responds best when you keep your system clog free.
5. A mild skin friendly scrub used with gentle hand movements will exfoliate the skin and keep it healthy. This should be done only about once or twice a week and not more than that.
6. Use oil free moisturizing lotion to prevent dryness. If you use make up, make sure it contains quality products that suit your skin. Also remove any trace of makeup before you retire for the night.
7. A facial done once in two months will help you to feel relaxed, rejuvenated provided it is done by an expert who knows how best to treat your acne skin.
8. A glass of warm water with a teaspoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of honey first thing in the morning or twice later in the evening will help flush out all toxins from your body.
9. Be careful of over the counter medicines for Acne. Make sure that they provide a mild treatment and do not contain harsh products.
10. Last but not the least, do a 5 minute deep breathing exercise at least once but preferably thrice a day. This is good especially if done in an environment that has fresh air to take in as much oxygen and will help you to relax, feel fresh and think positively about your self-image.
11. You can take some form of exercise that is suitable for your health and age and this will help to regulate and secrete the good hormones to keep you and your skin fit and healthy. Make sure that you clean your sweaty face during exercise and do not allow sweat to dry on your skin to avoid clogging your skin pores. Always wear clean dust free clothes.

Advance treatment of skin cancer - natural wayNaturopathy and Holistic Medicine
Naturopathy uses the methods of holistic medicine, working from the understanding that the human body can be self healing. The focus is on treating the whole person using natural remedies, diet, exercise and management of pain and stress.

Skin Cancer

Several alternative treatments may be used depending on the needs and preferences of the individual. While holistic medicine seeks to utilize the least invasive methods of healing it’s much to offer when used together with main-stream treatment. It’s proven effective, and has lots of success stories, in the treatment of some skin cancers.

Most, if not all of us, are familiar with the warnings about exposure to the sun and skin cancer, which is three of the most common forms of cancer in humans. Skin cancer falls in to three categories, epidermal and dermal. Epidermal cancers effect the epidermis which is the body’s top layer of skin. Dermal cancers effect the dermis which is the body’s second layer of skin. Epidermal cancer is the more prevalent of the three.

Keratinocytes, which are dead skin cells, make up 95% of the epidermis. These keratinocytes are sometimes called basal cells’. Approximately 82% of malignant skin tumors in Caucasians (those with white skin) are Basal Cell Carcinomas. This type of cancer grows slowly and never metastasizes. (Metastasis is the spread of from three organ, or part of the body, to another non-adjacent organ or part. Metastasize means, to spread’.)

Melanocyte cells are the cells that give skin it is color. Malignant melanoma usually starts in these cells. Although this type of cancer is still thought about uncommon the number of those developing it is rising.

Squamous cells are found on the surface of the skin, in the lining of the hollow organs of the body, breathing passages, and intestines. Squamous Cell Carcinoma is less common but more likely to metastasize. This type of cancer may invade lymph nodes in the areas near it is location. They can, but never do, invade non-adjacent areas of the body.

Holistic Treatment of Skin Cancer

Cancers in the dermis are far less common than cancers in the epidermis. Kaposi’s Sarcoma, a rare cancer, also called Idiopathic Multiple Pigmented Hemorrhagic Sarcoma (IMPHS), is a cancer of the cells that line lymph or blood vessels. It is most commonly found in those who are HIV positive.

It is believed and accepted that a flawless and radiant skin is the first and foremost attraction a woman can have. Not only it leads to a graceful aging, healthy skin can also help slow down the harmful effects brought about by the pollutants found in today’s environment. Professional acne skin care can be achieved by drinking at least 8 glasses of water every day is good not only for the body but also for the skin and there is no denial. The basic formulas for acne skin care women have been practicing all over the world is by observing the following routine on a daily basis: cleansing, exfoliating, moisturizing, and applying sunscreen. It’s easy to take these steps for granted when one is young and in the pink of health but such neglect will show later on as we age. Acne skin care is many a times neglected by the busy mothers and professional who find it difficult sticking to a regular routine skin care, but now a day’s health spas and beauty salons are already available to assist in all our skin care needs.

The latest treatment for the skin care is laser skin resurfacing which involves using intense light beams to remove the surface layer of the skin revealing younger skin with fewer wrinkles and discoloration. Firstly food, what does seem to be playing a major role is the food that we eat.  Food is where we get most of the nutrients that we need to keep healthy, to remove skin acne problems include a lot of fruits and veggies in your diet which are very rich in vitamins like A, C and E.  If your intake of these vitamins is low then you probably have skin acne and for that it has been recommended quality omega3 fatty acid fish oil every day. Avoid skin care products as they contribute to clogging skin pores and may cause blemishes to appear. Lastly over cleansing the skin may cause skin inflammation and acne and always use a skin product that has a moisturizer with anti-inflammatory ingredients when you cleanse your skin. Last but not the least drink plenty of water, at least eight glasses a day and keep yourself hydrated for the flawless, radiant and glowing skin.

daily-skin-care2With computer and internet technologies dominating the overall functioning of the individuals, life has become very fast and brisk, due to the hectic lifestyle in both personal and professional front, men and women don’t recognize the importance of daily skin care routine. In order to understand how wrinkles form within the skin, it is also important to understand the process of aging. Aging occurs as we grow older and it is a natural process in which the skin begins to lose the elasticity which was present when we were younger. A daily skin care routine that nourishes and protects the skin is one of the only ways that wrinkles and aging can truly be prevented.

Collagen is supposed to be the most important components of the skin which are created in the inner layers of the skin, must be maintained in order to maintain the glow, softness and suppleness of the skin, though moisturizers and facial creams, which are available in the market, and are often used as a daily skin care routine create a guard against aging and reduce the effects which can often cause facial wrinkles. Whether you’re sixteen or sixty, everybody wants a healthy glow. There’s nothing that crowns a woman’s beauty like healthy, luminous, lustrous and flawless skin.

Dermatologists, plastic surgeons and beauticians have recommended three steps that should be implemented into a daily skin care routine for healthy skin, as the saying goes ‘age catches everyone’. Many people think that wrinkles just come with age, which is untrue to some extent, as they age, men and women alike are looking for ways to reduce lines and wrinkles naturally and for that they are ready to spend money without hesitation to prevent wrinkles, black spots and ageing. Daily skin care routine consists of three simple, reliable, affordable and convenient steps to maintain the same gloss and sheen of the skin, no matter what the age is .Taking advantage of these three steps; cleansing, exfoliating and moisturizing can seriously help you to prevent wrinkles that may occur in the future as well as increasing the blood flow to the skin which can help to create collagen and ensure that the skin remains free of excess oil while becoming adequately moisturized.

Cleansing the skin in combination with a method of exfoliating the skin is the effective way to remove dead skin cells and encourage and regenerate new growth throughout the skin. Cleansers should be suited to the skin type, whether you have naturally dry or oily skin, it is advisable to use daily, especially at night to remove the impurities from the skin which can lead to fine lines and lastly, moisturizing is an important part of the daily skin care routine as it helps to replace what is being depleted within the skin as we age. Exfoliation can help to increase blood flow to the skin to ensure that the skin’s elasticity, suppleness and radiance are maintained through age. Look and Stay Young No Matter What’s Your Age is.
