Passive smoking is the inhalation of smoke and it is known as secondhand smoke (SHS) or Environment tobacco smoke (ETS) from the tobacco products consumed or used by others. Passive smoking is considered as more dangerous than the active smoking. Active smoking refers to the person who is smoking and passive smoking refers to the smoke which is consumed by the smoker and inhaled with air by the person who is around the smoker. The scientific evidence has shown that passive smoking causes disease, disability and death. Passive smokers are considered to have more risk on their health than the active smokers.
We are just aware that smoking is injurious to health, but we should know that if we do not smoke we can be pulled towards death due to second hand or passive smoking. Passive smoking causes headache, heart strokes, asthma attacks, disability, cancer and sometimes death. Due to passive smoking your heart starts beating faster and also your blood pressure rises high. Children are the most delicate and they suffer the most due to passive smoking. Usually the parents are unaware of the passive smoking effects and disadvantages, & they smoke in front of infants or kids. They do not realize till the children catches any severe disease or lung problems. Children are the first and quick victims of passive smoking and hence children should be kept away from the smokers.

Most people have try hard to quit smoking themselves or when they are trying to convince others for the same. It is not just because they don’t want to quit smoking but in reality it is very difficult to change the habit. Time and again the medical professionals all over the world have proved that smoking is one the most contributory factor for the death of a human being. At the Initial stage beginners and teenagers indulge themselves in smoking just because of force or influence from the peer group, to try the new taste, just for fun, to impress others, to get immediate relief from the stress etc. reasons.
