Morbid obesity is on the rise in United States (US) and millions of Americans are overweight. Obesity is the result of combination of two or more obesity and its diseases, peculiarly known as co-morbidities. Morbid obesity means severe obesity and class-3 obesity.

It is a chronic disease, meaning that its symptoms build slowly over an extended period of time.
Morbid obesity is a considerable risk factor for hypertension, cardiovascular disease, some cancers, diabetes, respiratory problems and muscular-skeletal disorders. Generally, the health intimidation of morbid obesity are: double risk of early death if your weight is more than twice your ideal, 5-7 times greater risk of death from diabetes or heart attack, high risk of “end-stage” obesity, numerous negative social, psychological and economic effects.

Causes of Morbid Obesity:
Causes of morbid Obesity are complex and simple sometimes. It may cause due to over-eating habits, side effects of tablets, genetic factors, hereditary reasons, lifestyle, depression, tension, excess use of alcohol or drugs, or due to any degree of cultural activity.
Treatment for Morbid Obesity:
One should depend on a very low calorie diet to prevent and cure morbid obesity. Weight loss treatments should be followed for preventing and curing the morbid obesity. Dieting, physical exercise, dancing, skipping, cycling, skating etc should be done to avoid the chances of growing obesity.
